The Czechoslovak Legionary logo depicts a circular Czech flag overlaid with two
helmets, the upper helmet dark cyan from a right perspective, the lower helmet a
dark green from a left perspective, overlaid with golden laurels. The flag is
surrounded a navy ring, edged gold inside and out, bearing the words
"Československý legionář – SPIA Czecha, z.s." on the upper arch and "Salus
patriae – Acta non verba" on the lower arch, separated on each side with a small
golden roundel.
The association's website gives the following explanation
to the logo's elements:
Laurel wreath – Symbol of the military and soldiers.
Helmets – Symbol of service in the army and on missions.
Blue helmet –
Participation in UN operations and missions.
Green helmet – Other military
service, not organised by the UN (for instance OBSE), including veterans from
before the years 1991 and 1989.
Flag – Fatherland, tricolour, Slavs
Acta
non verba – (Actions, not words) Motto of the organisation, strict rules and
perquisites for membership.
Salus patriae – (For the good of the fatherland)
Service to the fatherland whenever and wherever, even abroad.
“Czechoslovak”
– Represents the association's aim at transcending borders and promoting
internationalism.
SPIA Czech – Membership of the association in AISP – SPIA
as a representative of Czechia.

As of 2015 the association is a member of Siège Association Internationale
des Soldats de la Paix – Soldiers of Peace International Association or AISP –
SPIA for short. The Czechoslovak Legionary acts as a representative for Czechia
in AISP – SPIA under the name AISP / SPIA - Czech Republic (frequently shortened
to just the adjective as AISP / SPIA – Czech). For this function it has its own
logo and flag in the uniform style of member organisations. These attributes of
the flag are based on observation only, no written description has been found.
Based on observation, the flag of AISP / SPIA - Czech Republic is often used at
international events while the flag of the Czechoslovak Legionary is usually
used within Czechia.
The flag of AISP / SPIA - Czech Republic is a light
blue field (possibly UN blue, darker than Czechoslovak Legionary flag) of the
proportions 1:1 with the AISP / SPIA - Czech Republic logo in the centre. The
emblem consists of a French shield with a black outline and shading to the
right. In the shield is the Czech flag on which is centred the UN logo (globe
within wreath) in gold. On top of the globe is a light blue UN peacekeeper’s
helmet (with white detailing, the letters “UN” on the temple and the UN logo on
the forehead) facing left. Above the UN emblem are the letters “AI.S.P/S.P.I.A”
arched upwards and below the emblem is the word “CZECH”, all in capital letters
in gold. This flag is sometimes flown with golden tassels.
